Getting Started
How do I create an account on Uncensy?
To create an account on Uncensy, click "Sign Up" on the homepage and register with your email address or sign in with Google OAuth. You will need to verify your email address and confirm that you are 18 years or older. Once verified, your profile is automatically created and you can start exploring the platform immediately.
How do I create my first AI companion?
Click "Create Your Fantasy" from the homepage or companion gallery to open the Fantasy Builder wizard. Choose an art style (realistic or anime), then customize your companion's appearance step-by-step: ethnicity, age, face, body type, hair, and clothing. Finally, define their personality traits and communication style. The entire process takes approximately 5 minutes.
What can I do with my AI companion?
You can engage in unlimited text chat conversations with your companion on paid plans, send and receive voice messages, and request AI-generated images and videos of your companion. Each companion has a unique personality and remembers your conversation history, creating a personalized and continuous experience across sessions.
Is Uncensy free to use?
Uncensy offers a free tier that includes 3 messages per day with no custom companion creation. Paid subscription plans start at $4.99 per month (Starter) and go up to $129.99 per month (Unlimited), unlocking features like unlimited messaging, companion creation slots, NSFW content, image generation, and video generation.
Companions
How do I customize my companion's appearance?
The Fantasy Builder wizard guides you through a multi-step customization process. You select an art style (realistic or anime), then choose from options for ethnicity, age range, facial features, body type, hairstyle and color, and clothing. Each step offers curated visual options so you can see exactly what your companion will look like before finalizing.
How do I change my companion's personality?
During companion creation, you define personality traits including personality type, communication style, interests, and behavioral patterns. These attributes are used to generate a unique AI system prompt that shapes how your companion speaks and behaves. To change personality traits after creation, you can edit your companion from the companion details page.
Can I have more than one companion?
Yes, the number of companions you can create depends on your subscription tier. The Starter plan includes 1 companion slot, Pro includes 3 slots, Ultimate includes 10 slots, and the Unlimited plan offers unlimited companion creation. You can upgrade your plan at any time to unlock additional slots.
How do I switch between companions?
Visit "My Companions" from the sidebar or navigate to /rooms to see all your companions displayed as cards. Click on any companion to open their chat room and start a conversation. Your chat history with each companion is saved separately, so you can seamlessly switch between them without losing any context.
Subscriptions & Billing
What subscription plans are available on Uncensy?
Uncensy offers five tiers: Free ($0, 3 messages/day), Starter ($4.99/month, unlimited chat, 1 companion), Pro ($9.99/month, 3 companions, NSFW content, image generation), Ultimate ($19.99/month, 10 companions, video/audio, priority support), and Unlimited ($129.99/month, unlimited companions and all features). Annual billing is available at a discount.
What are Diamonds on Uncensy?
Diamonds are Uncensy's in-app currency used for premium features. AI image generation costs 5 Diamonds per image, video generation costs 10 Diamonds per video, and unlocking a public companion costs 50 Diamonds. Each subscription tier includes a monthly Diamond allocation, and you can purchase additional Diamonds separately through the platform.
How do I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?
Navigate to "My Companions" and open the Billing tab to manage your subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you are charged the prorated difference for the current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you retain access to your current tier's features until then.
How do I cancel my Uncensy subscription?
Go to "My Companions," open the Billing tab, and click "Cancel Subscription." Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. After the period ends, your account reverts to the free tier. You can resubscribe at any time to regain access to paid features.
What payment methods does Uncensy accept?
Uncensy accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and most major debit cards. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Uncensy does not store your credit card information on its servers. If you encounter payment issues, verify your card details with your bank or contact info@uncensy.com.
Privacy & Safety
Is my data private on Uncensy?
Yes, Uncensy uses end-to-end encryption for all conversations and does not share or sell your personal data to third parties. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe and never touches Uncensy's servers. Row-level security policies ensure that only you can access your own conversations, companions, and profile data.
How do I delete my Uncensy account?
Go to Account Settings and click "Delete Account." Uncensy uses a soft-delete process with a grace period during which you can restore your account by logging back in. After the grace period expires, all your data -- including conversations, companions, and profile information -- is permanently and irreversibly purged from the system.
Is Uncensy really 18+ only?
Yes, Uncensy is strictly an adults-only platform. Age verification is required during account signup, and all users must confirm they are 18 years or older. NSFW content is an opt-in feature available only on Pro tier and above. The platform enforces community guidelines to maintain a safe environment for adult users.
Troubleshooting
How do I reset my chat history on Uncensy?
In a companion room, tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner and select "Reset Conversation" to clear all messages with that companion. For the main chat, hover over any conversation in the sidebar and click the trash icon to delete it. Deleted conversations cannot be recovered, so use this feature carefully.
My companion isn't responding. What should I do?
First, check your internet connection and try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, verify that you have sufficient Diamonds or credits for premium features like image or video generation. You can also try clearing your browser cache or switching to a different browser. If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact support at info@uncensy.com.
I'm having payment issues on Uncensy.
Verify that your card details are entered correctly and that your bank has not blocked the transaction. Some banks require authorization for online subscriptions, so you may need to contact your bank directly. If the problem continues, reach out to Uncensy billing support at info@uncensy.com with your account email and a description of the error.
